Media reports suggest that PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) is likely to retain Younis Khan as Pakistan’s batting coach and that Zimbabwe have confirmed their tour to Pakistan. Hence, here is a look both developments.

While confirming the news of Zimbabwe’s tour to Pakistan PCB released the schedule of the three match ODI and T20 series which is as below.

First ODI – October 30
Second ODI – November 1
Third ODI – November 3
First T20I – November 7
Second T20I – November 8
Third T20I – November 10
PCB is likely to stage the ODIs in Multan while the T20 series in Rawalpindi. Zimbabwe on the other hand announced a 25 member training squad for the tour a few days back which includes Faraz Akram, Ryan Burl, Regis Chakabva, Brian Chari, Tendai Chatara, Chamu Chibhabha, Elton Chigumbura, Tendai Chisoro, Craig Ervine, Kyle Jarvis, Luke Jongwe, Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, Wesley Madhevere, Timycen Maruma, Wellington Masakadza, Brandon Mavuta, Peter Moor, Carl Mumba, Richmond Mutumbami, Richard Ngarava, Sikandar Raza, Milton Shumba, Brendan Taylor, Donald Tiripano, Sean Williams.

Officials in PCB seem happy with Younis’ performance during the English tour and thus, the board as per media reports wants to extend the contract of Pakistan’s batting coach for the upcoming home series and beyond. It is also being rumored that bosses at PCB also want to engage the 42 year old with junior players.
