Shan Masood performed reasonably well as a batter however, his captaincy was something that impressed the most. Despite, the expected result, Pakistan competed throughout the series particularly during the last two Test matches for which Shan definitely deserves credit. The new skipper also displayed exceptional ability while setting the field. His ability to manage media was also brilliant and so, regardless of what Babar Azam fans say; Shan might never be as good a batter as Babar but he is definitely a better captain!
