Pakistan are likely to open with left-handers Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq while skipper Babar Azam is almost certain to bat at his regular position in the format i.e. no. 3.

Reports in media suggest that Pakistan plan to play wicket-keeper batsmen Mohd. Rizwan and Sarfaraz Ahmed at the number 4 and 5 positions, respectively. This basically means that the think-tank is likely to leave out youngsters Haider Ali and Asif Ali.

Pakistan are likely to play spin bowling all-rounders i.e. Shahdab Khan and Mohd. Nawaz at the numbers 6 and 7 while fast-bowling all-rounder i.e. Faheem Ashraf is likely to bat at the number 8 position.

Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali are almost certain to be part of the playing eleven while Haris Rauf seems favorite for the spot of the third seamer. Nevertheless, Mohd. Hasnain has been in good form off-late and therefore, the selectors might prefer playing him ahead of Haris.
