Pakistan might not make any changes to the playing XI even though the middle-order looked ordinary once more and the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Usman Qadir and Haris Rauf went for plenty during the previous game. Hence, Fakhar Zaman, Mohd. Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Mohd. Hafeez, Haider Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Mohd. Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Usman Qadir and Haris Rauf are expected to take the field again.

Fakhar Zaman Might Open

Fakhar Zaman’s change in batting number then is likely to be the only change in tactic during the game. Fakhar batted without much effect while batting in the middle-order and so, it is expected that the left-hander will open with Mohd. Rizwan while Babar Azam will come into bat at the all important one down position.

Middle-Order Will Remain To Be A Talking Point

Pakistan’s middle-order misfired during the recently concluded ODI series against the Proteas. The trend then was apparent again during the first T20 of the four match series. The likes of Haider Ali, Faheem Ashraf and Mohd. Nawaz then will be under pressure of sorts to reverse the trend when the two sides meet again. Also, interesting would be to see how Mohd. Hafeez performs. The veteran cricketer failed in the last match but has been in wonderful form with the bat in recent past.
