The twenty-one-year-old Thatta’s long jumper video went viral on social media with people asking the sports federation and authorities to train him for the Olympics to represent Pakistan.
Asif Magsi is a TikToker and has around 1.2 million followers on the video-sharing app.

Speaking on a program Asif Magsi said, “I practiced consistently to make the leap. I started from five bikes, then took it to seven and then to 11 bikes,” he said. “I’ve had a few injuries but none of them were ever serious.”
His talent has even reached beyond borders as the American track and field athlete, Carl Lewis praised Magsi for “his lack of fear” and having “the perfect mindset.”
The good news is that The Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) saw the video too and they have decided to train him to represent Pakistan on the international level.
Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza shared that Pakistan Sports Board and the federal government will facilitate the young boy.
As per the details, AFP President Major General Akram Sahi (rtd.), who himself was the long jump champion of Pakistan, contacted Asif Magsi and invited him for further training to Lahore.
