OMG, Nadia Jamil is “officially” cancer free, guys and this is literally the best news you’ll read today. Ma Shaa Allah, Ma Shaa Allah!

Last year in April, the veteran actor got diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and a grade 3 tumor. She shared details of her journey with supreme positivity and a smile on her face throughout this entire year.

Only recently, the Behadd star took to Instagram to update her well-wishers with good news. Nadia Jamil shared that she was officially cancer free and all her tests were clear. Alhumdulillah. She also thanked everyone for their love, prayers, and support.

Jamil went on to thank her friends in the industry Sania Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Muniba Mazar and Sultana Siddiqui who stood by her in these testing times. She specially thanked @scaryammi.anasir for supporting her with finances.

She furthered,

Some colleagues now megastars, would repeatedly give me a time for a small chat, then have me wait/chase them. I can only pray Allah brings respect and humility to their hearts. After all, fame and name are nothing in the scheme of the universe and we are all, in the end, buried in the same soil.

The Durr-e-Shehwar actor shared that in her journey she learned to let go of those who made her feel insignificant and to love those who made an effort to be there for her.

I have made new friends and family, to whom I am bound for life, not by blood, but by the solid support they offered me during cancer and isolation during the pandemic. These incredible souls are a great blessing, she added.

She even lauded herself for braving through this journey.

“In the end though, I have stood by myself,” she said. “It is my breath that keeps me alive, myself that protects me. It is my mind that wakes up to the dawn light, searching for clarity, loving green trees, moving against silver blue skies. It is my heart that feels full to the brim w gratitude and joy for every amazing blessing and gifts the Creator exposes me to.”

She shared that now she knows how to navigate through hardships.

Although I shall fall again, I know I have the will to learn to stand. And with each fall, I shall rise stronger and clearer. May I always be shown the path towards truth, kindness, humility, respect, love, and then have the sense and will to walk it. Shukar Alhamdolillah and thank you so much, she concluded.
