Pakistani cricketers Haris Sohail and Usman Qadir have expressed relief following the end of quarantine period in New Zealand and hence, here is a look at what they had to say.

While commenting after the green shirts resumed practice in New Zealand, Haris Sohail said, “We were missing training for the past two weeks. Everyone is happy after completing the net session. We have done some light training today and are trying to get accustomed to the conditions.”

Leg spinner Usman Qadir while explaining the ordeal and Pakistan’s future plans said, “14-day quarantine was difficult but the good thing is that it is in the past now. I really enjoyed our first training session today. We are hopeful of getting back in rhythm before the T20I series.

“I am aware that spinners play an important role in Twenty20 cricket. If given an opportunity, I will try to give my best.”

Pakistan To Play Its First Intra-squad Match Today

The green shirts will play its first intra-squad game today to attain some good match practice ahead of real action that begins next week. It is worth mentioning here that the senior boys will play their first T20 international on the 18th of December, 2020 while the A-team or the Shaheens will start playing the first 4-day game of the tour a day earlier.
