Ramiz has been extremely critical of how Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis have managed the dressing room proceedings ever since they took over from Mickey Arthur and his team. Hence, the two of them will have to win the ICC T20 word cup for Pakistan now. Otherwise, the new chairman is expected to replace them with better qualified foreign coaches. Also under pressure would be chief selector, Mohd. Wasim whom Ramiz might replace with a senior cricketer from his era.

No Place For Tainted & Over-aged Cricketers

Ramiz has always been of the opinion that over-aged and tainted cricketers should not be allowed to represent the country as their presence brings more harm than benefit to the dressing room. So, this might as well be the end of the road for tainted cricketers like Mohd. Amir, Sharjeel Khan and Umar Akmal etc. as well as for over-aged cricketers like Mohd. Hafeez and Shoaib Malik.

Drop-in Pitches

After a disastrous performance in New Zealand earlier in the year, Ramiz called for drop-in pitches so that the local batsmen don’t struggle in countries like New Zealand, Australia and South Africa etc. Hence, it is expected that Ramiz will introduce the concept of drop-in pitches in Pakistan once he takes over as the chairman, PCB.
