Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is that one person who can go to any depths of insensitivity only to stay relevant, and this time around it’s his remarks for the Noor Mukadam murder that have brought him back to the headlines. One can literally count on this person to say the most disgusting things ever and not feel one bit sorry about it.

The problem here is that there are not many celebs in the showbiz industry who call him out for his petty attitude. They don’t make an effort to actually boycott this horrendous person, and that is exactly why he continues to say the most narrow-minded things.

Nevertheless, Pakistanis have had enough of his attention-seeking antics, for crying out loud! They’ve canceled him a million times already, but until and unless legal action is not taken against him, this man will not stop.

The playwright’s comments on Noor Mukadam’s murder

Qamar has time and again openly condemned feminism and all that it entails to empowering women and ensuring their safety. However, he stooped so low this time that there’s no coming back. He quite literally questioned the timing of Mukadam’s murder and linked it with what feminism preaches.

Basically, he just blurted out that her murder was a conspiracy to keep the feminist movement alive (I kid you not, he really said that). I mean how crass does one need to be to comment on someone who isn’t even alive anymore.

Pakistanis have canceled the guy enough times already, but the onus of responsibility is on media houses that continue to have him over for interviews and celebs, who on the face of it, call out his behavior, but go back on their words and work with the scriptwriter.

However, the ordinary citizens are not willing to budge and are thrashing Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar for his vile comments on the beheading of Noor Mukadam.
