David Warner and Kane Williamson of IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) displayed heartwarming bhaichara by observing a fast with Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Mohammad Nabi, and Khaleel Ahmed during the Holy month of Ramazan.
Their Muslim teammates, who practice Islam, are keeping fasts from dawn to dusk despite having to play cricket all day.
The vice-captain for the Afghanistan men’s cricket team, Rashid Khan, broke the news in an Instagram video. He revealed how Kane Williamson and David Warner both showed great spirit to observe a fast with their Muslim teammates. And the video is all kinds of heartening!
Contrary to Warner’s opinion, the former captain for SRH, Williamson, showed a thumbs-up, saying he felt “very good.”
