Pros Of Reappointing Babar Azam As Pakistan’s Captain?
Babar has a decent T20 record both as a batter and as a team lead. He has successfully led Pakistan to a T20 world cup semi-final in 2021 and a final in 2022. Therefore, it is obvious that he has the expertise and the experienced i.e. required to effectively lead the men in green during a prestigious ICC event.

Cons Of Reappointing Babar Azam As Pakistan’s Captain?
Media houses have previously reported that Babar has a complicated relationship with the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Mohd. Amir and Imad Wasim. If fit, they are all likely to feature in Pakistan’s T20 world cup squad. A bad relationship with senior players will only make things complicated in the dressing room and so, the decision makes little or no sense, whatsoever.
It is also worth mentioning here that Babar’s form as a batter has significantly improved ever since he was removed from captaincy. Hence, for Pakistan, it seems better not worth risk the country’s number one batter for the sake of captaincy.
