#BabarAzam was appointed again as Pakistan’s T20 and ODI captain yesterday and so, here is a look at 4 things that he has to do different in his second tenure in the prestigious role. Under Babar Azam’s captaincy, Pakistan played the wrong playing XI on more than one occasion. With the T20 world cup around the corner, going forward, we hope Babar’s selection skills have improved significantly.

Skippers in Pakistan thrive for as long as they are able to excel as a team player. The pressure of leading the dugout did affect Babar’s batting negatively during his pervious term. Nevertheless, after losing captaincy, he was able to rediscover his lost form. We hope that the burden of captaincy doesn’t affect the country’s best batter’s performance again.

It is no secret that the former captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Imad Wasim and Amir have had a poor working relationship with Babar Azam. Hence, for Babar it is important to let go of the past, remove differences and unite the group prior to T20 world cup.
