Reports in media suggest that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to take disciplinary action against Yasir Shah after the leggie questioned the selection committee’s decision to drop him from the twin tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Yasir Shah In Hot Waters As PCB Considers The Option Of A Disciplinary Action Against Him?
Daily Jang reported that PCB is considering the option of taking a disciplinary action against Yasir Shah after the 34 year old created a controversy while questioning the decision of PCB to drop him from the squad that is due to tour South Africa and Zimbabwe.

What Did Yasir Actually Say?
Chief selector Mohd. Wasim while shedding light on the decision to drop Yasir explained that the seasoned cricketer needed more time to gain full fitness. However, the discarded bowler soon challenged the authorities by issuing a statement to media that argued, “Now when I have recovered from a knee problem, I can start training in the nets in a few days and hopefully would be in the best of rhythm in a couple of weeks.”

Why A Disciplinary Action Shouldn’t Surprise Any One!
Yasir’s latest performances have not been much to talk home about and therefore, apparently, he no longer enjoys support in PCB. Thus, a disciplinary action against a struggling cricketer is nothing new and so, such a move by PCB should not be of much surprise to anyone.
