Prominent Indian Politicians Demand Cancellation Of The #PakvInd Game
India has a history of not keeping sports away from politics and so, it seems their prominent politicians once again want to spoil the show. Commenting before the high octane ICC T20 world cup clash India’s Union Minister Giriraj Singh recently said, “I think the match should be reconsidered since the relations between India and Pakistan aren’t good.”

India’s Punjab Minister Pargat Singh on the other hand while commenting before the blockbuster game said, “India vs Pakistan match in T20 world cup shouldn’t be held because the situation at the border isn’t ideal and both the countries are currently going through a stressful period. So we have to guard humanity and not do anything that may end up putting further stress on the relationship between the two countries.”
While the statements make little sense, the pressure from the ICC and the broadcasters is likely to come in way to ensure that better sense prevails. Nevertheless, given such a scenario, Pakistan is certain to benefit and earn crucial two points in the tournament without much effort!
