A number of prominent Indian politicians have demanded for the cancellation of the #PakvInd game i.e. scheduled to be played during the #T20WorldCup on the coming Sunday.

India has a history of not keeping sports away from politics and so, it seems their prominent politicians once again want to spoil the show. Commenting before the high octane ICC T20 world cup clash India’s Union Minister Giriraj Singh recently said, “I think the match should be reconsidered since the relations between India and Pakistan aren’t good.”

India’s Punjab Minister Pargat Singh on the other hand while commenting before the blockbuster game said, “India vs Pakistan match in T20 world cup shouldn’t be held because the situation at the border isn’t ideal and both the countries are currently going through a stressful period. So we have to guard humanity and not do anything that may end up putting further stress on the relationship between the two countries.”
