#ICCCricketWorldCup: Mickey Arthur Downplays Shadab’s Poor Form

Prior to Pakistan’s first #ICCCricketWorldCup match, team director, Mickey Arthur downplayed Shadab Khan’s poor form and instead backed him to come good during the tournament that is being played in India.

Mickey Expects Shadab Khan To Regain Form During The #ICCCricketWorldCup

While speaking to media ahead of Pakistan’s first match during the ongoing #ICCCricketWorldCup Mickey Arthur said, “Shadab is the best all-round player. I have no worries about Shadab. He will be back in form soon.”

While giving an account of the country’s bowling and batting on the other hand he said, “I think our bowling attack is the best in the world. If we score runs, our bowlers can defend it. Our batting does not just revolve around Babar and Rizwan. We have many talented batsmen, including Imam, Saud Shakeel and Fakhar Zaman. They are all quality batsmen.”

While talking about Pakistan’s playing eleven for the first match Mickey further said, “We have an idea of our team, and our 11 players are ready. When the toss happens, the playing XI will be revealed.”
