Batting Line
Pakistan’s batting line for at least the first few games is expected to comprise of Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam (c), Mohd. Rizwan (wk), Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed. All-rounders
Shadab Khan and Mohd. Nawaz are expected to keep their place despite not being in top form. Nevertheless, at least one of the two might as well lose their place in the playing XI as the tournament moves forward particularly, if the performance indicators are not as per the skipper’s expectation.

Fast Bowlers
Comeback boy Hasan Ali is expected to share the new ball with Shaheen Afridi while Haris Rauf is likely to be the country’s third seamer. Nevertheless, Mohd. Wasim Junior might also play later in the tournament if either Hasan fails to deliver or if Pakistan opts to play four instead of three seamers at any point in the tournament.
