Enraged Hina Pervaiz Butt Tells Mohammad Hafeez To Stop Talking & Concentrate On His Cricket

A few days ago PML-N’s MPA, Hina Pervaiz Butt got furious over Pakistani cricketer, Mohammad Hafeez. The former captain had praised the Premier in his tweet after he successfully won the vote of confidence from the parliamentarians. This did not go down well with Butt, and she gave Hafeez a dressing down.

Ever since PTI candidate Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh lost the Senate election from Islamabad to former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and PM announced to get a vote of confidence (and eventually won that, too) the tension between the opposition and the ruling government is growing. Consequently, they take every opportunity to get back at one another.

A similar situation took place three days ago when Hafeez took to his Twitter to praise PM Khan. After his victory in the parliament, the cricketer congratulated him by tweeting, “Master stroke. #VoteOfConfidence @ImranKhanPTI.”

Butt took notice of his tweet and slammed him for his comment. She instructed the right-handed batsman to stop discussing politics and focus on his game instead. Furthering that she also explained that Pakistan cricket has already become a laughing stock around the world by failing to abide by the COVID-19 SOPs.

“And now you’re supporting someone who is a ‘vote thief.’ It is better that you keep your mouth shut and not comment on politics.” she concluded.

Hafeez has however not responded back to the tweet of Hina Pervaiz Butt.
