Pakistanis have praised Dr. Yasmin Rashid for dealing with COVID-19 emergencies at home with immense bravado besides undergoing cancer treatments.
The Punjab Health Minister has intelligently managed the coronavirus situation in the province despite being ill with breast cancer.
Rashid underwent breast cancer surgery in December 2020 at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lahore.
She was treated by an oncologist, Dr. Amna, and, luckily, the surgery went well. Rashid is recovering and doing better.

This week, despite her ailment, Dr. Rashid evaluated the catastrophe’s condition and assessed the required facilities to deal with the COVID-19 surge. The minister is so dedicated to the work that she works day in and day out to make sure things are going as planned.
She recently monitored the overall situation of the pandemic and noticed whether the required medical equipment like the ventilators and oxygenated beds are available or not.

At the age of 70, she is doing something so commendable and definitely deserves all the applause.
