Pakistani selectors dropped Hasan Ali for the #AsiaCup2022 during which the #PakvsInd Contest will take place on August 28, 2022. It is worth mentioning here that the tournament is being hosted by Sri Lanka however, owing to economic situation in the country, this year’s edition will be played in UAE.

Arch-rival India and Pakistan will meet again on the cricket field on August 28, 2022 during the Asia Cup. The two teams are likely to play against each other once more during the tournament on September 4, 2022. Both sides are also favorites to play the final of the event i.e. scheduled to be staged on September 11, 2022. The complete schedule for the tournament is as below.

Aug 30: Bangladesh vs Afghanistan, Sharjah
Aug 31: India vs Qualifier, Dubai

Pakistani selectors on the other hand have dropped pacer Hasan Ali whose form has been poor for a while now. There was also no place for former captains Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmed in the squad. However, young Naseem Shah who is yet to play a limited overs game for Pakistan is part of the touring party. The complete squad is as below.
