Anoushey Ashraf’s DMs Are A Beautiful Proof Of Women Lifting Up Women

The famous TV presenter, VJ and actress Anoushey Ashraf took to Instagram to express her delight over the compliments she received from other women in her DMs.

Anoushey Ashraf explained that the female gender is often criticized for being jealous of fellow females’ beauty, success and many other achievements, however, in her DMs the women are full of praise for her.

She told her followers that not only local women, but women from different parts of the world complimented her and that melted her heart.

Non physical compliments also feel so good sometimes.

Ms. Ashraf shared with her readers that her sisterhood praised her not just for her looks but the way she inspired them in different ways. She added that:

Women do not always pull each other down. They do not always get jealous of each other.

It is surely uplifting to see such heartwarming gestures from women in different parts of the world. With so much going on in the world, and being in the midst of pandemic, everything feels overwhelming, but it is news like these that manage to put a smiles on our faces.

MEN compliment me and it certainly feels great. But when women compliment me, it uplifts my spirit and soul. These messages have come to me over the last two days from ladies around the world. They specially wrote to me to appreciate me and give me love. They took the time out to let someone know they’re talented and inspiring. Non physical compliments also feel so good sometimes. I feel like I have a bigger support system of sisters I haven’t even met but want each of them to know how grateful I am for you. Women do not always pull each other down. They do not always get jealous of each other. These are mere misconceptions. People dislike one another, people are sometimes jealous of one another, irrespective of their gender. These messages are proof. To the men who love me and my work, I’m so very thankful for you. To the women who do the same, I wish I could hug each of you. This means a lot. Celebrities are known for receiving love from their fans, but not many take out time to appreciate them, and highlight their efforts in lifting the celebrities up. Sadqe Tumharay actress was generous in mentioning how kind words can make one feel better. She did not just send love for her virtual sisters, but also thanked the men who complimented her from time to time.
