Aamir Liaquat Husain called himself an “ICON of Karachi” in a tweet. Earlier, he had said that he was upset because Prime Minister, Imran Khan was ignoring him. Later though, the Premier did meet him. For Pakistanis Amir’s self-proclaimed title was a little too much to digest and hence, they turned to Twitter to poke fun at him!
It all started when Aamir Liaquat Husain published this tweet yesterday morning.
The PTI member complained how Prime Minister Imran Khan did not visit him. He stated how he won PTI a crucial seat in Karachi and defended the First Couple from criticism. All of these achievements make him the “ICON of Karachi” and that he should be respected as such. The tweet soon caught fire, making it a trending topic.

As already explained, the Prime Minister did visit him later the same day. He then tweeted this image:
Netizens apparently had a hard time taking Aamir Liaquat Husain seriously and so, soon the internet began tagging the Prime Minister to explain his actions.
The title began to trend on social media in a matter of hours.
Others were just about done with Aamir Liaquat Husain and said what they had to!
Karachiites themselves were left surprised because of the politician’s new title.
We almost forgot that at one point he was angry too!
