Recently, British singer and songwriter Zayn Malik shared his phone number on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, throwing fans into a frenzy.
Some of them were dubious if this was his private number and if they could actually give him a call!!
It later, dawned upon them that it is nothing but a promotion strategy. By ringing the number they get to hear Malik’s voice confirming the release date of his latest album Nobody is Listening, dropping this 15th of January! The voice says,
“Yo, this is Zayn here. Album is dropping on January 15. Press any number from one through nine to get to meet me. Press it now.”
And how could the fans not try it!!!!
Moreover, the recorded message informed fans that they can hear snippets of each song from the album, once they press any of the numbers from 1 to 9 on their cellphones.

Right after the call, dialers get a text from singer’s released number that says,
Yo, Zayn here! Tx for hitting my line. Give me your deets so we can stay in touch 🙂 x

Alongside, Malik, his girlfriend Gigi Hadid was also seen promoting his album. She shared the extensions of her personal faves from the album.
Hadid later revealed how all the tracks ‘slap!’
