Last week Taher Shah finally released his long-awaited song, Farishta. But his fans were utterly disappointed as it didn’t live up to what they had anticipated.
To top their dismay was the fact that Taher Shah simply dropped an Urdu translation of his last single, Angel and that too after four years of wait.
But what still remained a source of amusement for many was the animated video of the track.
Now after receiving all the feedback, Taher Shah has shared the philosophy behind his new song, Farishta.
The singer took to Twitter to share his wisdom behind the song and what it truly means. He also revealed that his fans actually demanded an Urdu version of Angel.
Shah explained the analogy between children and angels depicted in his video and said, “The philosophy of the song Farishta is that children are like angels. Angels are sacred so we can righteously equate them with angels. These little individual are the essential component of our life. If we embellish our kids today they will make us proud in the future. This is the reality of life. We should take good care of our children because they are the real angels of life.”

He added, “For parents, children are more delicate than flowers. It is them due to whom the life is beautiful and lovely. That is why I have turned the feelings of limitless love and affection in the form of ‘Farishta’ song. “
Well, people piled on to get the meaning behind the animation straight out of the horse’s mouth!
Taher Shah obliged and explained in detail what the animation actually strove to depict.
The basic tale of the song video is, one cute child who as a king visits the fantasy world with his loyal friend unicorn who comes from the skies and takes the child to beautiful fantasy world and where one butterfly meets with child which ultimately becomes fairy for the child and then like a farishta both fall in love with each other for forever.
Shah also told his fans that the protagonist in the video has been played by a kid whose personality resembles his own son.
