When PCB announced Pakistan ODI squad against Sri Lanka, many frowned upon the inclusion of Imam-ul-Haq in the team who also happens to be Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq’s nephew.
However, all those doubts were put to rest when last night Imam hit a debut ton against Sri Lanka which paved way for Pakistan’s series-clinching win. He became the second batsman from Pakistan and 13th overall to hit a century on his ODI debut.
Following this feat, we saw Imam topping the trends. Here is how the debutante’s match winning performance made Twitter a happening place all over again!
