MS of DHQ hospital Haripur informed about the idea and said their focus was on patients who were suffering from heart, kidney and eye conditions since they were at a higher risk of being affected by coronavirus.

With delivering the medicines using a drone, they are ensuring that these patients don’t have any human contact and receive the meds without the risk of going out.

This initiative is quite simple and effective. By using the telemedicine service offered by the hospital, patients will be able to call the hospital and will get connected to a specialist over the phone for diagnosis and prescription without any charges.  The prescribed medicine will then be flown to the patients through the drone. Hence, there will be no risk of human contact at all!
