Thari Mirwah Scandal: Retired Teacher, Sarang Shar, Accused Of Raping Children Still On The Loose

Thari Mirwah Scandal has shaken the nation to its core after videos and pictures emerged on social media showing a retired teacher allegedly raping children in Khairpur. The teacher is identified as Sarang Shar who used to give home tuitions to children.

On Wednesday, father of a 10-year-old victim registered a case against Sarang Shar and told the police that his son was sexually assaulted by his tutor.

The father who is a driver by profession told the media that he had received the video of his son that has gone viral and was “horrified”. The father shattered by the incident said that “A teacher is supposed to build his students’ careers but this one destroyed my child’s life.”

The father said that he sent his son to Sarang’s tuition center after the lockdown as the schools were closed and he didn’t want his son to lag behind. He added that the teacher appeared to be a respectable personality of Thari Mirwah but this man turned out to be an animal.

The devastated father demands justice for his son and wants the authorities to arrest the culprit. He added that Khairpur SSP Aamir Saud Magsi and DIG Fida Hussain Mastoi had contacted him with assurances of tracing Sarang soon.

When contacted by the media, Aslam Shar, the suspect’s son and PTI Khairpur district vice-president told that he was unaware of any details and was out of town. He said, “I cannot say that the person in the videos or photos is my father.” He further told that he’s not able to contact his family as their phones are currently switched off.

According to the residents of the area, Sarang has been involved in this horrendous crime for many years and several videos of the victims have surfaced before. There are also claims that he had been working for the dark web.

Advocate Raza Hussain, a lawyer who had highlighted the matter on social media, claimed that “He forced his students to engage in sexual activities with each other and made videos of them.”

MAny have revealed on social media that he had sexually assaulted 132 children.

The suspect is reportedly the father of a PTI office-bearer and as per claims the police have not been able to take any action because of his influence despite several complaints over the years.

To say the least, it is enraging to know that the monster who has been abusing his students for several years now is still at large. And all this while the victims and their families continue to suffer!
