After Kahaani Sujoy Ghosh Is Back With Badla & You Need To See The Trailer!

With Kahaani, director Suoy Ghosh gave Bollywood its most engaging thriller in a decade. The intense script and the tightly packaged execution of the film ensured that it entered the coveted 100 crore (Rs. 1 billion) club despite lacking star power and being entirely led by a female protagonist.

Ghosh is now back with another thriller, Badla, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu as the leads. Shah Rukh Khan, whose production house, Red Chillies Entertainment is the primary investor in the film will also feature in a cameo.

Going by the trailer, Badla seems to have all the right ingredients for an edge-of-the-seat thriller: a dead body, an innocent suspect and a faceless, motiveless killer.

With a powerful duo in the lead and a master craftsman behind the camera, Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla might just be the thriller that we were waiting for since Kahaani came out in 2012.
