Shadab Khan Says That Situation Isn’t Ideal
While referring to the exit of head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and the bowling coach Waqar Younis, Shadab said, “It was their [Misbahul Haq and Waqar Younis] personal decision and I cannot comment on that. But it is not an ideal situation. Our focus is on doing the things that are in our control in the right manner. We don’t want to think about what-ifs of the situation. With the world cup approaching, our focus is to prepare ourselves for it. If we think about it then it can bring negativity in the team.”

Also Admits That His Performance Has Gone Down
While admitting that his performance isn’t what it should be the 22 year old said, “I had a lot of success at the start. After that I have not had a lot of success. I think the main reason for it was injuries. I had hepatitis and then I had injuries. It does have an impact but that is not an excuse. I keep trying to be better. I have spent a month in the academy recently working with the coaches to improve my bowling and batting. I am now fit and I try to bat and ball as long as possible because as an all-rounder, I want to win my team matches wherever I can.”
