Sana Mir is that one name in Pakistan cricket which keeps bringing pride to the nation; this time it’s no different! The young Pakistani cricketer became the first Asian woman to complete 100 T20Is yesterday and the fact that she did it on her home ground added to the moment of glory. Mir took to Twitter last evening to share her record after winning the T20 match against West Indies.
Alhamdolillah ! Completed my 100 T20s on home soil with a win against windies. Congrats @14anisa for playing your 100th t20 match on Pakistan soil also. You have been an outstanding performer for westindies. So happy that we could share this moment with the people of Pakistan💞🇵🇰 pic.twitter.com/JePVPaZVI4

With all these achievements under her belt, Sana Mir has indeed emerged as an inspiration for all those girls who want to take the path less traveled. It is Mir’s sheer hard work, conviction, and passion that has put Pakistani Women Cricket team on the map and opened new avenues for exhibiting their talent.
Yes, the mainstream media still fails to give projection to our girls in green that they deserve but days like these fill us with the hope that one day there will be equal treatment of both men and women cricket teams in terms of projection as well as creative avenues like PSL.
