Gladiators won their opening match by 16 runs against Peshawar Zalmi. The franchise hasn’t done well during the last few seasons. Lahore Qalandars Seem Lost

Haris Rauf was penalized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) earlier last week while Shaheen Afridi is also under pressure following a bad tour of New Zealand where Pakistan lost the T20 series 4-1 under his captaincy. Lahore Qalandars rely heavily on their pace attack and so, with two of their top bowlers under pressure, it is no wonder that the franchise looked lost during their first match of the tournament which it lost by 8 wickets with 10 balls still remaining. The franchise will need to find a way to ease down pressure on both Shaheen and Haris otherwise, they might not be able to defend their title.
