Multan Sultans were able to beat Karachi Kings in style during the opening encounter of #PSL7. The second game of the tournament will be played between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi. Gladiators will enter the game without former captain Shahid Afridi who tested positive for COVID19.

#PSL7: Sultans Beat Kings With Ease

The first game of #PSL2022 saw Rizwan led Multan Sultans beating Karachi Kings with ease. Kings who entered the game without an unfit M. Amir and Imad Wasim (who couldn’t participate after testing positive for COVID19) scored only 124 runs in 20 overs. Sharjeel Khan scored the most runs i.e 43 for the Kings after skipper Babar Azam fell for only 23 runs. Rizwan while leading Multan from the front scored 52 runs. The knock ensured a Sultans victory with 10 balls to spare.

Quetta Gladiators’ Shahid Afridi who tested positive for COVID19 won’t be available to play against Peshawar Zalmi today. Gladiators have had little success in recent past and hence, they would want to ensure a decent victory in their first match of the tournament.
