The Australian team played the entire series with a purpose. They were brave, they wanted to win, they were hungry and so, they planned and executed their strategies accordingly. It was evident from the word go that Pakistani team did not have the man power that could have made use of home conditions. Australians were well ahead of the Pakistani side throughout the series. Their physical and mental fitness was exemplary. Their batters were able to rotate the strike better and hence, keep the score board ticking. Their fast bowlers had more pace and knew the art of of reverse swing much better than the green shirts. The spinners on the other hand too tested the Pakistani batters on a regular basis.

There is little or no doubt that Pakistan has a lot to learn from the visitors and that they need to play with a positive mindset if they are to challenge teams like Australia, New Zealand and England in Test cricket.
