Former middle order batman, Dean Jones from Australia was among the first of the foreign cricketers to show interest in visiting Pakistan. As a matter of fact the gentleman to his credit visited the country even before the final for the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) was staged in Lahore.

Viv Richards
Viv Richards was among those who were quick to accept the offer to visit Pakistan when the final for PSL 2 was announced to be organized in Pakistan. His presence without a shadow of doubt made way for many other cricketers to feel safe and make themselves available for cricketing activity in the country.
Darren Sammy
Darren Sammy is one of those foreign cricketers who played in Pakistan both while representing his franchise, Peshawar Zalmi and when ICC backed XI toured Pakistan last year. To his credit not only has the former West Indies skipper played a massive role in promoting the revival of international cricket in Pakistan but he has also attracted a wide range of audience from around the globe through his happy-go-lucky personality. Therefore, he is easily one of the most loved foreign cricketers in the country.
