Gladiators depend heavily on their spin bowlers and there seems a need for them to beef up their fast bowling reserves. Rahat Ali was the only bright star for them as all other fast bowlers struggled for most part in both UAE and Pakistan.

Sarfaraz Ahmed is one of the best T20 captains around. Still, the wicket-keeper batsman off late has received a lot of criticism owing to his hyper behavior both while leading Pakistan and the Gladiators. The franchise then needs to find a way to calm their captain down who it seems unconsciously is putting too much of pressure on himself and his bowlers by giving them a suggestion or two every single delivery!

Moreover, the 30 year old also seems to have become a little arrogant (to say the least) and thus, there is a need for seniors in the support staff to have a quite word with him.

It is now for the second time in two years that the Gladiators suffered a major setback once their overseas players refused to play in Pakistan where a very important part of the tournament was scheduled both during the second and third editions.

It is high time that they discard foreign players who are not willing to come to the country and instead either select only those foreigners who are ready to represent the franchise in Pakistan or find local players worthy of replacing some of their senior guys from other countries.
