Mohd. Amir Doesn’t Want To Play International Cricket Again

Mohd. Amir during an interview once again explained that he has no desire left to play international cricket. It is also worth mentioning here that Amir announced his retirement on December 17, 2020.

While listing down reasons because of which Amir doesn’t want to play international cricket again, he said, “At the moment, I have moved on. I have different things in my life to do.”

“Three years is a long period out of the international system. If you look at the Pakistan system right now, it is changing every single month, so you never know what is coming.”

“For me this debate is closed. After three years out, I don’t think it would be a sensible decision for me to come back. For now, at least. I don’t know what will happen in the next few years.”

Frankly, ever since his retirement, Amir has failed to deliver on a consistent basis even in league cricket and so, there is anyway very little probability of PCB considering him even if he decides to take his retirement back.
