Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit to Wana, announced that 3G/4G internet services will become functional in Waziristan from Wednesday (today).
PM made this announcement while addressing a cheque distribution ceremony for the successful applicants of the Kamyab Jawan Loan Scheme and the Youth Internship Scheme.

He further added that ”security issues” were the reason behind this delay.

PM Imran Khan also shared that Waziristan has immense potential but its people are below the poverty line. In efforts to alleviate them, the government has established the Ehasaas Program.

Assuring the people of Waziristan, Imran Khan said that his government is working towards empowering this region.
He even mentioned that government was working on bringing an ‘olive revolution’ in Waziristan.
