Out Of Form Bowlers

Mohd. Amir, Sohail Khan, Amir Yamin, Usman Shinwari and Imad Wasim are among those bowlers who have represented Pakistan at the international level. Nevertheless, none have been phenomenal for them. Shinwari and Sohail Khan in particular, have looked awful throughout the ongoing season. Hence, the franchise really needs to reconsider their selection policy and perhaps they will be better off bringing in people who have a good reputation at the franchise level even if they don’t have the star power.

Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings have this habit of appointing too many big names to manage proceedings for them. While Lahore seems to have learnt their lesson; Kings still have the same issue in their dressing room.

Hence, it is about time that they do away with a “too many cooks for the same soup” strategy and choose one person and then allow him enough space to go about his business. You just can’t have Mickey Arthur and Wasim Akram serving in the same place and then expect them to deliver without giving them the freedom to make key decisions while solely being in charge of the whole thing.
