Batting Line For The First #PAKvsENG Test
Pakistan are likely to stick with Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub as their openers while captain Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Salman Ali Agha and wicket-keeper batter Mohd. Rizwan are likely to be part of Pakistan’s top seven. It is worth mentioning here that owing to poor form, Abdullah Shafique is under pressure and that another bad game is likely to result in him being dropped for the remaining part of the series.

Bowling Line
Abrar Ahmed is expected to lead Pakistan’s spin-bowling attack. In the pace department, Naseem Shah and Aamir Jamal are likely to return to the playing XI after Khurram Shahzad and Mohd. Ali who played the last Test were dropped from the squad owing to different reasons. Mir Hamza on the other hand will only be able to retain his place if Shaheen Afridi fails to regain full fitness ahead of the first Test in Multan.
