Coronavirus In Pakistan: 4,646 Cases & 105 Deaths Reported In The Last 24 Hours

The number of people affected by the deadly coronavirus in Pakistan has been on a surge for the past month, i.e. ever since the lockdown was eased.

As per the sitrip issued by the Ministry of the National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, in the last 24 hours, 4,646 new coronavirus cases and 105 deaths were reported across Pakistan.

Punjab

Punjab reported the highest number of new coronavirus cases in the country i.e. 1,916. The number of suspected cases also remains the highest in Punjab at 14,244.

58 deaths were reported in the province during this time.

Sindh

Sindh reported 1,447 new COVID-19 cases and 29 deaths in the past 24 hours. While the number of suspected cases stood at 8,513.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)

KP reported 519 new cases with 12 deaths in a single day. There are at least 1,658 suspected cases in the province as of today.

Balochistan

272 new cases and 4 deaths were reported in Balochistan while 771 more people are suspected to be the potential carriers of the virus.

Gilgit Baltistan

Gilgit Baltistan had 20 new cases and 1 death out of the total number reported in the country. While the number of suspected cases stood at 73.

AJK

AJK had the lowest number of new coronavirus cases in the country i.e. 16 with 1 death reported. There are 146 suspected cases in the region.

Islamabad Capital Territory

In Islamabad, 456 new cases were reported with no death in the last 24 hours. 3,057 suspected cases have been tested in the federal capital during this time period.
