Pakistani celebrities, Mahira Khan and Osman Khalid Butt took to Twitter to probe Shireen Mazari to take notice of the mob attack on a Christian family in District Okara.

According to the media reports, a mob of more than 200 Muslims attacked the minorities’ residence in Chak 5 village a few days ago.
Mangta Masih, one of the victims of the attack lodged an FIR against the mob. He complained that he was cleaning the Church’s main gate with Imran, Emanual and Shahroz Masih when a Muslim landlord got angry at them for spilling dust on him.
Moments later, the landlord allegedly appeared with an armed mob and attacked the persons in question and their families as well.

Members of the Christian minority communities have allegedly suffered injuries, and the complainant also lost his thumb in the bust-up.
The Sadqay Tumharay actor, Mahira Khan condemned the act on the Christian boys and urged the Federal Minister for Human Rights, Shireen Mazari to pay attention to this matter at home.
She asked her to ‘lead by example.’

Similarly, the Chupke Chupke actor, Osman Khalid Butt, shared DAWN’s article of the mob attack in the Okara district and tagged Mazari to ask her to protect the minorities and to bring them justice.
Other sources claim the mob was 200-strong. This is District Okara. @ShireenMazari1 I urge you to take notice – our religious minorities need protection and justice, he wrote.
