Joining Khalid Bajwa, Ali Zafar, Junaid Akram & Kami Sid in the list, now Bayaan’s lead guitarist Shahrukh Aslam has been accused of sexual harassment. The story came to surface on Saturday when a girl took to Twitter to post a thread of her ordeal without naming the accused. Here’s what she wrote!

On much insistence, the girl named her sinner and we couldn’t be more appalled than ever at hearing Bayaan’s lead guitarist, Shahrukh Aslam’s name to the question.
Few hours into this and Shahrukh Aslam made a Twitter account especially to answer the allegations against him. While denying the accusations, here’s what the musician said.

Bayaan’s lead guitarist also showed a willingness to resolve the issue and answer any question regarding the matter if needed.
Upon this, the girl has shared another thread urging people not to fall for Shahrukh’s lies and giving graphic details that one can never unsee…

Whatever the truth be, we must acknowledge that despite no consequences for the accused, more Pakistani women are feeling encouraged to share their sexual harassment stories – something that was way too socially forbidden two years ago. That said, now that the accused is willing to sit down and answer every question regarding the issue, the whole episode should be thoroughly investigated in order to set a precedent.
