Atif Aslam Has Pakistanis & Indians Raving Over His Rendition Of Wohi Khuda Hai On Coke Studio 12

It’s official, Atif Aslam will open Coke Studio 12! Going by the tradition, the show will commence with a spiritually charged kalam and this time, Aslam will be seen recreating Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s iconic hamd, Wohi Khuda Hai.

The makers of Coke Studio 12 recently gave fans a sneak peek into the making of Wohi Khuda Hai, featuring Atif Aslam.

In the recently released behind the scenes (BTS) footage, Aslam dedicates his rendition of the hamd to his five and half year old son, Ahad Atif Aslam.

“I’d like to dedicate this to my son. He’s five and a half years old and when he grows up, he’ll listen to this and feel happy that his father recited a hamd. And I hope he understands what I said; I hope he interprets and finds…finds his own journey and Allah Ta’ala.”

While Atif seems genuinely emotional about Wohi Khuda Hai, his fans are no less ecstatic.

Despite Indo-Pak tensions on the rise, fans from India are just as impatiently awaiting Atif Aslam’s return to Coke Studio as the singer’s Pakistani fans.

Coke Studio season 12 is slated to go on air on 11 October and apart from Aslam other artists who will feature on the show include Hadiqa Kiani, Abrar-ul-Haq, Najam Sethi, Aima Baig, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Fariha Pervez among others.
