As A Twitter Addict I Want These 5 Questions Answered After Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar Replaces Asif Ghafoor As DG ISPR

Major General Asif Ghafoor was replaced by Major General Babar Iftikhar as DG ISPR On Thursday and Twitterati were left open-mouthed as no one saw that happening.

Believe it or not, former DG ISPR’s tenure kept Twitterati on the go with one thing or the other. And following the news Twitter addicts are a mishmash of emotions.

As a twitter addict I want these 5 questions answered after Major General Babar Iftikhar replaces Major General Asif Ghafoor As DG ISPR:

1. Will Major General Asif Ghafoor remain active from his personal handle @peaceforchange?

He remained pretty active on Twitter using his personal handle to connect with his friends and frenemies. And now that he has been transferred from the military’s media wing, will his personal handle be abandoned?

2. Will former DG ISPR’s streak of Twitter spats continue?

If one thing we can’t forget from former the DG’s tenure is the streak of his Twitter spats with prominent personalities on Twitter.

More than anything else, I just hope the streak continues because if nothing else, it was a constant source of entertainment for me.

3. Will Major General Babar Iftikhar be as active on Twitter as the former DG ISPR?

Well, all eyes are on Major General Babar Iftikhar. What will be his first tweet as DG? Will he carry on the legacy of his predecessor? Will it be a fresh start or a continuation of what Asif Ghafoor’s legacy?

Since, Asif Ghafoor’s beloved dog, Zorro made several appearances on the hit television drama, Ehd-e-Wafa, it’s only natural to wonder if we’ll see Ahad Raza Mir a.k.a Saad playing with the new DG’s pet dog too!

And no, I’m not the only one wondering about this. I’m sure the dog would be curious too.
