The Bollywood diva, Sonam Kapoor’s husband, Anand Ahuja got inspired by Lahore so much that he shot his recent campaign for Bhaane in the streets of Allama Iqbal Town, and we flexing so bad!
Ahuja is the owner of a contemporary clothing brand, Bhaane, which creates simplistic outfits for men and women. The clothes nurture the spirit of individuality among the wearers.
So, recently, Kapoor’s husband got heavily inspired by the culture of old Lahore and decided to do a cross-cultural collaboration for his latest collection.
The brand’s official Instagram page posted multiple pictures from the recent shoot which featured Pakistani models posing at different locations outside Allama Iqbal town in Lahore.
“Bhaane found its home in Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore as we found sun motifs drawn across the designs of gated homes across the colony,” an Instagram caption read. “We wonder who the designers of this developing city were, what hope they found in a rising Sun, and where such carvings faded off to. Abeera and Mushahid are out at the dawn of light, looking for the Rising Sun, falling on its symbol wherever they run.”
For the campaign, Anand Ahuja made the models chase ‘rising sun’ motifs around Allama Iqbal town in Lahore and that’s a pretty cool concept, honestly.
