It’s Valentine’s Day today and like every year desi folks are drawing daggers at each other arguing the merits of celebrating 14th February. And while the South Asian internet is going bonkers presenting arguments for and against Valentine’s Day, Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan asked a very valid question from his Indian followers on Twitter.

You see, while International Children’s Day is celebrated on 20th November, India celebrates its National Children’s Day on 14 November.

As per Big B’s calculation, India’s version of Children’s Day falls exactly 9 months and 3 days after Valentine’s day, aping the time that it takes for a child to be conceived and delivered!

We’re not sure if Bachchan senior was genuinely digging for an answer or he was jesting about the coincidence but his quip certainly spread a lot of smiles!
