Amir Lauds Babar Azam, Aaqib Accepts #LQ Have Been Poor

During different media interactions, Amir lauded Babar Azam while Aaqib Javed accepted that Lahore Qalandars have played poorly through out the ongoing #PSL9. It is worth mentioning here that Aaqib’s franchise so far, has lost all six matches that it has played in the tournament.

Amir Appreciates Babar Azam

Amir while appreciating Babar said, “The way he played his last innings and the shots he played, I always used to tell him to play outside his comfort zone. It is a very good sign for Pakistan cricket that he has developed those shots. We have played cricket together, and we have a good relationship.”

Aaqib Javed Admits #LQ Didn’t Play Well

While reflecting on the defending champions performance during the ongoing season, Aaqib said, “The combination of the Qalandars could not be formed. Both the bowling and fielding were not up to the mark. We have variety in our spin bowling department. But not getting the wickets, makes the situation difficult. First of all, we are looking to win the match, as victory is quite important for us as a team unit. Our team heavily relies on the bowling department, but having an incomplete bowling attack has hurt us.”
