Pakistan’s favourite director-producer jori a.k.a Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza were dearly missed in 2019. The duo has religiously released at least one film every year since 2016 and so it was quite a downer for fans when they realized that Qureshi and Meerza would not be releasing a film this year.
However, director-producer have entirely redeemed themselves by announcing not one but two films in 2020!
First came the announcement of Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad that will see superstars Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan share screen space for he first time.

As if this announcement wasn’t exciting enough, Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza recently made public the name and cast of their second big-screen offering – Fatman.
The film Fatman is a superhero film that revolves around the subject of body shaming. Ahmed Ali Butt will be the main lead. He took to Instagram to break the news!
Talking about the film, Ahmed Ali Butt said that it was the name of the film that attracted him to the role.
He added, “The film is full of emotions and family relationships and how a person who has been fat deals with certain circumstances in his life, how being fat affects you and things around you. It is a powerful script and it is going to be a fun-filled film. You can say it’s a different take on superheroes.”
