Two match #PAKvsBAN Test series ended yesterday with the green shirts winning it 2-nil and so, here is a look at a few surprising reasons why the rubber can influence the country’s progress on the cricket field during the year 2022.

Is Sajid Khan Pakistan’s Number One Spin Bowler After The #PAKvsBAN Test Series?

Sajid Khan secured a magnificent 12-for during the second Test and also took a total of 4 wickets during the first Test. Pakistan’s other leading spinner during the series i.e. Nauman Ali on the other hand went wicket less during the entire tour. Yasir Shah couldn’t feature owing to an injury however, he too has not been in the best of forms for a while now and hence, it seems Sajid Khan at least for now is Pakistan’s number one spinner at the Test level.

Is Babar Azam Ready To Bowl At The T20 Level?

Pakistan have selected veteran cricketers Shoaib Malik and Mohd. Hafeez because of their additional ability to bowl effectively at the T20 level. Babar Azam during the second Test bowled three overs of off-spin and without a shadow of doubt impressed every one with his bowling skills. If the skipper can some how keep bowling the same way at the T20 level as well then this will help the selectors in changing the team composition as they will have little reason to opt for aged cricketers.

Can Pakistan Make It To The Final Of The ICC World Test Championship?

Pakistan as of now is second on the points table of the ICC World Test Championship. They play an away Test series in familiar conditions of Sri Lanka as well as home series against Australia, New Zealand and England next. Hence, with a little effort and luck, there seems no reason why the men in green can’t make it to the final of prestigious ICC championship.
