A List Of Restrictions That PCB Has Placed For The English Tour

Media reports suggest that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has passed on a list of restrictions ahead of Pakistan’s world cup campaign in England to ensure a controversy free stay for the green shirts in the country. Hence, here is a look at a list of restrictions that PCB has placed for the English tour that is supposed to last for nearly 2 months if Pakistan reach the semi-final stage of the mega event.

Families Not Allowed

The touring party has not been allowed to keep their families with them in order to avoid unnecessary distractions.

Asked To Limit The Use Of Social Media Activity

Cricketers during the tour have also been asked to limit their social media activity. This is particularly important to PCB perhaps because there are a lot of youngsters in the squad who lack international exposure and who are thus, vulnerable to making a comment that can reflect badly on their own as well as on the image of Pakistan cricket.

Asked Not To Meet Or Accept Gifts

PCB perhaps is yet to forget the spot-fixing scandal of 2009 that rocked Pakistan cricket and resulted in Mohd. Amir, Mohd. Asif and Salman Butt getting banned. Most probably then to ensure that budding cricketers on tour remain safe, PCB has asked everyone concerned not to meet or accept gifts from strangers.
