Like every year, the entire country’s eyeballs were fixed on their television screens last evening to see the live telecast of the Opening Ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019. And to the organizers’ credit, the ceremony was every bit worth the hype surrounding it!
From Junoon and Boney M’s nostalgia laced performances to the magnificent march of the PSL 4 teams, the ceremony received love from every nook and corner of the country.
There were of course certain elements that inspired jest-makers to come-up with bone-tickling memes and one-liners but thankfully both the masses and the woke had nothing significant to complain about.
